$2 Million Convention Center Expansion
and Renovation Project Announced

Preliminary construction to begin mid July 2010
Completion anticipated April 2011
Square footage will extend from 9,500 to over 17,400
Seating capacity will increase from 350 to 828
Once completed the Convention Center will allow concurrent events with a combination of five floor plans
The current Convention Center will hold its last event on November 13, 2010
Now accepting bookings for April 2011 and beyond
Limited accomodations will be available in-house during expansion process. Call for information.
Off-site catering also available.

I just wanted to take a minute to thank you again. The Island Resort and Casino was the PERFECT venue for the fun and memorable wedding Jason and I hoped for.

Throughout our wedding planning process, our ultimate goal was to ensure our guests had a great time and I'm happy to say everyone did! I can't begin to tell you how many compliments we have received on our wedding. In fact, I'm not kidding you when I say we had guests who actually wrote us thank you cards telling us it was the best wedding they've ever been to! Our guests raved about everything from the food, to the service, to the entertainment. All of the services your venue provided were top quality!

My favorite part of the entire experience was your customer service. You and your staff went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our day was perfect. Looking back now, I wouldn't have changed a thing! Thank you for making mine and Jason's wedding such a special and memorable day.
