Best concert I’ve ever been to. No other band can hold a candle to Collective Soul!! Getting to meet y’all was just an extra added bonus to the concert itself! And, OMG, I could hardly believe that “Simple” (my FAVORITE song) was your first song!!!! Second-row seats were bad ass!!! Peace, love, and rock music forever!!!—Jeanine
Collective Soul, I absolutely loved your concert on Monday night. Not only are you guys awesome, but your fans are too. I made multiple friends that night with people in my row and felt that we were connected…like a “collective soul” Now I have more future concert partners. Thanks for visiting us! Keep Rockin’! —Chelle
About Collective Soul
Collective Soul broke into mainstream popularity in 1993, with the rock anthem, “Shine.” Formed in the early 1990s in Stockbridge, Georgia, the group consists of principal songwriter and frontman, Ed Roland, Dean Roland on rhythm guitar, Will Turpin on bass, Johnny Rabb on drums, and Jesse Triplett on lead guitar.
After “Shine,” the band went on to release eight albums. Several albums earned platinum status and produced chart-topping hits, including “December,” “The World I Know,” “Precious Declaration,” “Listen,” “Run,” and “Heavy,” to name a few. The albums have been received with enthusiasm by fans and critical acclaim by those in the industry. Many of their songs have been covered by well-known artists, such as Dolly Parton, who won a Grammy for Best Country Vocal Performance with her cover version of “Shine.” In recognition of their artistic achievement, Collective Soul was inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame in 2009.
Now after a six-year hiatus, the band is back with their ninth album, “See What You Started by Continuing,” and are currently touring the country in celebration of the group’s 20+ years together.
