A Tribute to the Original Highwaymen: Cash, Nelson, Jennings & Kristofferson
The Highwaymen Show is a tribute to the great American outlaws of the late 1970s. During the show, you’ll experience the classic harmonies and guitar pickin’ of the original Highwaymen: Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings and Kris Kristofferson.
The Highwaymen were country’s biggest supergroup, featuring the talents of four of the most memorable voices in the history of country music. Although Cash, Nelson, Jennings and Kristofferson had worked together before, they came together as the Highwaymen in 1985.
What followed was a success. The band had multiple chart-topping hits, including “Highwayman” and “Desperados Waiting for a Train.” Now, The Highwaymen Show travels around the country, performing these hits and more in tribute to the four country superstars.
