A rising young star with a classic country sound, Conner Smith is coming to the Island Showroom for two nights on November 15 and 16th. 23-year-old singer/songwriter, Smith has a musical style of storytelling that, partnered with a rich soulful voice, is taking country music by storm.
Storytelling Sessions with Smith
Conner Smith has spent most of his life writing and singing songs that are quickly becoming the new hottest hits of country. This young man is reigniting the passion and warmth of 90’s country in the storytelling-style writing of his songs.
Smith’s music is deeply personal in content, and each song takes you on a journey through the heart and mind of this up-and-coming artist. Songs such as “I Hate Alabama,” “Orange and White,” and “Roulette on the Heart,” (with Haley Whitters) tell stories of heartbreak, new love, and taking chances.
His music has that desirable classic country sound, with the presence of an exciting new artist. The hit single “I Hate Alabama” quickly went viral amongst football fans following its release. Smith has also broken into the cinema scene with “Steal My Thunder” being featured in the box office hit Twisters.
Boots in the Showroom
Born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, Smith has been in the right place at the right time. His Debut album Smoky Mountains continues rising in the charts with immediately recognizable radio hits such as “Creek Will Rise.”
Named an Artist to Watch by Spotify, Amazon Music, and Opry NextStage, Smith is quickly making a name for himself in the world of award-winning artists. He has received recognition from MusicRow Nest Big Thing, CMT Listen Up and CRS New Faces Class of 2024. As a nominee for New Male artist at the 59th Annual ACM Awards, Conner Smith is just getting started.
