Two Musical Giants, One Fun-Filled Performance
Face 2 Face is a high-energy, interactive show filled with sing-along favorites and spontaneous humor. It features Billy Joel and Elton John’s biggest hits along with deeper cuts that true fans will appreciate.
Billy Joel tribute artist, Elton Lammie and Elton John tribute artist, Les Smith recreate the sound, moves, costumes and energy of their heroes’ legendary shows. Each takes a solo set before coming together for a third, completely unpredictable set where the duo tag team some of the biggest Elton and Billy hits.
They revel in audience participation and off-the-cuff banter. You never know what will happen but you’re guaranteed to have fun!
An Authentic Tribute, Lovingly Crafted Over Years
Les Smith took to music early as a child. He listened to The Beatles and The Rolling Stones but when he heard Elton John, something clicked. Elton was special. Les loved the high-energy delivery and outrageous wardrobe of Captain Fantastic. It was different from anything else he’d ever heard or seen.
Smith began to work up an act on the family piano. He played a few songs for family events and then expanded to friends and neighbors. When it was time to take the act on the road, he wanted another performer to share the stage.
When he discovered Lammie, they clicked immediately. The duo push each other with more jokes, better costume changes and higher energy performances. Over time they’ve learned to work the crowd and deliver an authentic high-energy tribute act fans will appreciate.
