Be on the lookout for a shake up this September as we make some changes to our Twitter Tuesday Promotion! Out with the old and in with the new is the name of the game as we introduce “A Night Out at the Island”. Each week, one winner will win a prize package that includes a free night stay at the Island Hotel, a $40 food voucher and a pair of tickets to see headline entertainment.
Starting on the first Tuesday in September (5th, 12th, 19th and 26th) at 12pm Eastern Time we will be giving 1 winner each week the following prizes:
- September 5th – Voucher for a free night’s stay at the Island Hotel, a $40 food voucher and a pair of tickets to see Tyler Farr.
- September 12th – Voucher for a free night’s stay at the Island Hotel, a $40 food voucher and a pair of tickets to see Little River Band.
- September 19th – Voucher for a free night’s stay at the Island Hotel, a $40 food voucher and a pair of tickets to see Loverboy.
- September 26th – Voucher for a free night’s stay at the Island Hotel, a $40 food voucher, and pair of tickets to see Easton Corbin.
So how does this new Twitter Tuesday work? Each week we will give a series of one-word clues on Twitter. These clues describe a person, place or thing. The first person to reply with the correct answer wins the daily grand prize.
An example of how this works would be:
“We are going to give you clues describing a person, place or thing…first person to guess it wins today’s Night at the Island prize”
“Clue #1: Golf”
“Clue #2: Danny”
“Clue #3: 1980”
“Clue #4: Gopher”
“Clue #5: Spackler”
“The correct answer is Caddyshack”
The first person to correctly reply to the question on Twitter, will be deemed the winner. All winners will be announced on Twitter and messaged with instructions on how to claim their prize. All participants must be at least 18 years of age and not have won a Twitter Tuesday Promotion within the last 90 days. Please note: winners who fail to claim their prize within 60 days (or make arrangements) will be ineligible for future prizes. Prizes may not be sold.
