Ah, the 70s! That magical time when the sound of bell bottoms proudly rang out across the land and bands rocked harder than your bank’s two-step authentication process.
Relive the glory days of those magnificent hit songs this October when The Island Showroom welcomes tribute act extraordinaire, That 70s Music. Bask in the performance as some of today’s most talented musicians revive your favorite songs before your eyes and ears.
The Live Jukebox You Didn’t Know You Needed
That 70s Music is the brainchild of Nashville musician Mark Oliverius. Mark has an impressive resume of working for some of the top musicians in the biz including Pam Tillis, Mickey Gilley, Joe Diffie, Sawyer Brown, Sammy Kershaw, T.G. Sheppard and Trick Pony.
For 18 years, he was the musical director for country superstar Lorrie Morgan. He brings his passion and his years of experience to every note of That 70s Music.
Mark is joined by The Nashville Hitmen, a group consisting of some of the most talented and hardworking musicians to ever hit the road. Collectively, the 650 horsepower lineup knows every FM radio playlist you’d ever want to hear.
They’re fronted by vocalist Mia Brown, a Wausau, WI native with a heart of gold and a voice like thunder. Somewhere between Cher, Stevie Nicks and Linda Rondstat, Mia’s versatile pipes can belt out high-octane rockers and tender ballads alike.
Together they bring the majesty of 70s pop, rock and country music to life with a heart and soul you won’t find anywhere else.
Your Favorite Songs Performed by Players Who Love Them
That 70s Music is a labor of love for everyone involved. More than a nostalgia act, this is a love letter to everyone who sat by the radio waiting for their favorite song to come on.
Now you can relive that anticipation and excitement live at The Island Showroom. To get you ready, we’ve put together a little playlist of some of the songs you might hear on October 27th:
