ober, our decorating team has been hard at work assembling the innumerable wreaths, centerpieces, strands of garland and Christmas trees that will adorn the property throughout the holiday season. If you’re planning a visit to the Island during the holidays, here are a few decorative highlights that you’ll want to check out:
- Snowman Family located in the Island Convention Center
- 15 foot Christmas Tree located in the Palm Tower Lobby
- Santa Claus Display located on the Prize Bank Platform
- 12 foot Christmas Tree located outside of the Island Showroom
Have Yourself a Cozy Christmas
With the days getting shorter and the nights getting longer, there’s nothing more relaxing than being wrapped in a warm blanket while reading a book, watching TV or sipping your favorite beverage. For the 2016 Holiday Season, the Island is going to be gifting 1,000 Island Club Members with a free Sherpa Throw Blanket. Perfect for those cold winter nights, these warm and fuzzy blankets will be available beginning on December 5th to the first 1,000 Island Club Members who earn 750 points on their Island Club Cards. To redeem for your blanket, simply visit any kiosk after meeting point requirements to retrieve your redemption certificate. Please note that redemption certificates must be presented at the Island Club by closing each day. There is a strict limit of one blanket per person.
Winter Room Rates
Need a change of scenery this holiday season? If so, consider spending a night at the Island by taking advantage of our Winter Room Rates! Now through March 31st, standard king/queen guest rooms are only $55 per night (plus tax and resort fee) every Sunday – Thursday. Christmas on Ice
Not quite into the swing of the season? Make plans today to attend our Christmas on Ice extravaganza December 9th-11th in the Island Showroom. Destined to put you in the holiday spirit, this one-of-a-kind ice skating show, features world professional skaters, exquisite costumes, specialty acts and many of your favorite Christmas songs. Directed and choreographed by Rosstyn & Laurilee Gudino, this family-friendly show opens with a yesteryear Currier & Ives on ice that will take you through the past, present and future of Christmas on Ice. Tickets are $36 per person and can be purchased by calling our Box Office at 877-475-7469 or you can buy tickets online.
New Year’s Eve
Celebrate the end of 2016 by ringing in the New Year at the Island! Enjoy special New Year’s Eve Menus in the 5 Bridges Steak & Seafood House and Firekeeper’s Restaurants along with late night snacks, champagne and party favors on the gaming floor. Use your Island Club Card to be eligible for random drawings taking place from 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM along with our grand prize drawing for $2,017 cash taking place at midnight.
