Ace comic K Jay the Comedian, aka, Kelechi Jaavaid could walk into an empty room and have a good time jump off. His sketches are witty depictions of everyday life via wry, bone-dry scenarios. K Jay’s a natural born cutup who gives your funny bone a true workout. For good measure, a strapping 6’ 6” and classically handsome, he’s done modeling stints for such clients as Big & Tall Casual Male, Best Buy, Dinty Moore and Science Museum of Minnesota. His fitness workout was featured in Minneapolis Star Tribune segment "How I Got This Body". K Jay has played in the NBA summer league and has three summer Pro-Am championship in Minneapolis. Comedian Rob Little

Rob Little’s outlook on life can be summed-up in two words: Pure Optimism. At a young age, he developed and nurtured an upbeat philosophy about life. Fortunately, Rob’s ability to see things in a positive light, coupled with his desire to make people laugh, has served him well. While working in a lucrative position as a computer programmer for IBM, he decided to take a huge risk. He now enjoys an incredibly successful career as a stand-up comedian and with an impressive and growing portfolio of television and film appearances, he is quickly earning national recognition. A sketch comedy player on the Fox Sports Net Show, "The Best Damn Sports Show Period" and "Last Call with Carson Daly," Little uses his training from the world famous Second City Comedy Club to create routines that are inventive, funny, spontaneous, and completely unique. He also earned a role on the CBS network summer hit series, “Fire me Please.” Recently Rob was named Maxim Magazine’s “Real Man of Comedy”. Last Comic Standing on NBC named him, “The Happiest Comic in America”. You have also seen him on the Comedy Central sketch comedy show “Nick Swardson’s Pretend Time”. Don't let the "Little" name fool you. The truth is, Rob is big in more ways than one. With a grin on his face, a gleam in his eye, and a passion for comedy that is larger than life, he’s the biggest thing to happen to comedy in a long, long time.

Comedian Tom Convy

Mar

7:00 pm
Must be 18 or older to attend.

Tim Convy was born and raised in St. Louis, and after graduating from the University of Missouri, pursued his dreams of rock n' roll stardom. As keyboardist of the rock band Ludo, he performed on The Tonight Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and MTV; and became as popular as keyboardists can become - mostly among the key demographic of teenage girls in the Midwest. Ludo played over one thousand shows all over the country including clubs, colleges, and festivals like Lollapalooza and Warped Tour. After hanging up his synthesizer, Tim studied improvisation at The Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theater in New York and began performing standup comedy shortly after. Tim’s material stems from his decade on the road, his Midwestern upbringing, and all his romantic relationships - from the miserably failed to the mildly successful. Tim has also worked as a writer and producer on a variety of television shows from Comedy Central's Not Safe with Nikki Glaser to MTV's House of Style. In 2016 Tim moved back to St. Louis to combine his love of music and comedy. You can hear him on the radio every Monday through Friday on Lux & Tim Convy on NOW 96.3FM.

Phil Vaught grew up in Kentucky. The son of a Minister and from a very musical family, he was exposed to music very early in life. He was singing in church as far back as he can remember. At age 11, his parents bought him a drum set, and he began playing at church services and with friends at social functions. Soon after that, his older brothers started teaching him guitar and there was no turning back…

In addition to Gospel, Phil was exposed to many other music genres. From his dad, he picked up on legendary country artists such as Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Bill Monroe, The Statler Brother’s, and many others. His brothers, eight and ten years his senior, listened to Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Merle Haggard, Hank Williams, Jr., Billy Joel, and Phil picked up something from them all. His mother & sister, both accomplished classical musicians, also exposed Phil to an array of popular artists of current and past eras.

By 2003, Phil was so busy that he had bought a home in Hendersonville, Tennessee. He is known all over the country and abroad, playing over 200 shows a year at major venues here and overseas. Phil has played the stage at the Wildhorse Saloon more than ANY other artist in the history of the venue.
